Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), also known as dibutyl hydroxytoluene, is a lipophilic organic compound, chemically a derivative of phenol, that is useful for its antioxidant properties. bht commonly used in animal feed as the bht feed grade additive for antioxidants.
We have the obvious advantage of competitive price and stable supply with the complete production chain.
We could supply BHT with an annual capacity of 10000Mt which is the biggest in China.

Applications of BHT
BHT is suitable for all kinds of animal fat and vegetable fat products and other variety of grain and oilfood, snacks, food packaging materials, food-grade products and so on.
BHT is a non-polluting anti-oxidant stabilizer for natural rubber, butadiene rubber, styrene butadiene rubber, neoprene, nitrile rubber, butyl rubber, isoprene rubber, ethylene propylene rubber, transformer oil, all kinds of latex products, especially white or light color ones.
BHT can also be used in lubricating oil, secondary processing and petrol, paraffin, mineral oils, polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, ABS resin, polyester resin, cellulose, plastic foam as an antioxidant stabilizer.
Why does feed storage need BHT antioxidant ?
BHT is mainly used as an antioxidant in animal feed, such as fish meal, fish oil, meat bone powder, fat or fat mixture, and other feed, Bht Feed Grade can slow down the feed nutrients oxidation decomposition, play an important role in anticorrosion and quality protection.
Antioxidants are mainly used in pig feeds in the following aspects: feed fats, fishmeal, animal slaughter by-products, and other pig feed ingredients with high-fat content. It is used in alfalfa meal, leaf meal, grass meal, and other pig feed ingredients with high carotene and carotenoid content to prevent the oxidation and destruction of vitamin A and pigments and to increase their coloring effect and utilization. It is used in premixes containing vitamins to prevent the decrease of their activity. It is added to pig feeds and other raw materials susceptible to oxidation to prevent oxidative damage and to increase their utilization and effect, especially in aquatic bait and pet pig feeds with high oil content.
