Ectoine is a natural cell protectant, an amino acid derivative produced by bacteria living in extremely harsh environmental conditions. Ectoine is used as an osmo-regulatory Chemicalbook-compatible solute to increase the hydration of the skin surface and stabilize the lipid layer, and is commonly used in skin care. Ectoine has a good safety profile and can be used to study allergic rhinitis.

Application

Ectoine has moisturizing and repairing functions, and is widely used in the field of skin care products to improve skin tone.

Packaging, Storage, Handling and Shipping

It is packed in cardboard drums and double-layer PE bags in the drum.

Product should be stored in its original packaging or in a suitable airtight container in a clean and dry place. Storage conditions are preferably a sheltered environment with limited temperature changes and low humidity. Contacting the packaging with water or any other liquid will directly cause the product to clump and should not be stacked in trays. Under normal circumstances, the use of this product will not cause any undue health hazard. Precautions must be taken to prevent solid or liquid product from coming into contact with skin or eyes.
